ScaleUp Radio

Jun 21, 2023

Hello I’m Granger Forson or find me on LinkedIn.

This time on ScaleUp Radio I speak with Al Tepper, the owner of Tepfu.

TepFu is a marketing strategy & coaching business that is based near Hemel Hempstead. Al started 7 years ago, with in intension not to employ staff or have premises, and he has kept to his plan while building a 6-figure turnover.

Al went through an ahah moment in his business where he changed selling ‘time for money’ which is not scalable. He now sells ‘value for money’ and is scaling his business.

We cover a lot of marketing ground, including:

 - a business leader must be a marketing leader for a business to be successful.

 - The key to marketing is mastering the art of conversation.

 - Service is key to growth and replaces authenticity.

What is so inspiring about this conversation with Al is how he talks about how trends come and go in marketing, but people buy from people and that still holds true, even with all the technology we have today and the future.

I know that you’ll get something out of this episode.
