ScaleUp Radio

Nov 22, 2021

On this week’s episode of ScaleUp Radio, we hear from Matt Crump who is the owner and MD of Cloud Top Technology.

They are an IT support and services business, who specialise in the Microsoft 365 area.

It’s still early days of the business, after setting up in July of 2020 but they have already made great moves into a pretty crowded market space.

The refreshing aspect of listening to Matt and the journey of his business, is the drive for it be different from the other businesses that are out there - but also be modern and forward-thinking whilst retaining a traditional business view of putting the people, the customers, at the heart of what they do.

As always, we cover a lot of ground, including:

 - The process of keeping up with an industry that is almost constantly changing and evolving.

 - How powerful networking can be in those early days.

 - Why working out the pricing for your services needs to be probably a little lower than you might think.

 - The importance of having routines for feedback and communication in place for when the team is working from home.

One of the more incredible aspects to Matt’s business story is that none of it was planned. A really fascinating conversation, with some real value - no matter where you are on your own scale up journey.
